How to control effects with combat status automatically

Hi All,



I'm new to the modding scene,and have a little experience with the creation kit, and i'm hioping someone can help me with a mod im trying to make.



In a nutshell I'm trying to make an enchanted object that will boost my running speed by 200 points, but only outside of combat. I've worked out how to enchant an object with the ability to speedmult the wearer by 200 points, but I'm at a loss about how to make it automatically remove the speedmult in combat, and to automatically reapply the speedmult once exiting combat. Sort of like the way health regen works inside and outside of combat.



I tried using the condition functions in the magic effect, but the best ive managed to accomplish is that the object checks to see whether I'm in combat when being equipped, if not the speedmult works, if I am in combat the speedmult doesn't when work, which is the desired outcome. But this condiftion function only checks the combat status once, upon being equipped.



Is there a way to make it constantly monitor combat status so that the speedmult can be removed \ applied automatically while having the enchanted object equipped the whole time.
