None of the dawnguard weapons and armor are showing the enchantments such as "does additional damage against vampires" for the war axe. Anyone know what might be causing this?

I'm playing PC Skyrim regular edition.

Did it before SSE? I didn't use that add-on prior to SE and it doesn't show anything for me, either. I just assumed it wasn't intended to be listed as an enchantment. You just know it happens, but that's just a guess.

It's not an enchantment. It's just an extra buff on the weapon. You can enchant those weapons, and the extra vampire damage remains.

Correct, but didn't there use to be a note that was placed where an enchantment description would normally appear saying what the dawnguard item did?

No, it was always just a very vague explanation. More irritatingly, the vague explanation remains when you enchant those weapons, so you don't see what did you enchant that weapon with.

Yes but my point is that the explanation is not even there now. It's been awhile since I've picked up any dawnguard items for a character, so I have no idea when it happened.
