Anyone know of a good microphone headset I can use with online games, especially Grand Theft Auto V? I don't need any ear phones 'cause the game doesn't need them, that is unless you want privacy, which I don't. I just need a good mic without paying a fortune.

Headset with headphones are preferred so you don't broadcast background/game noise. Especially in online games where you will broadcast other people's communication. Its annoying to others... just saying

Speaking of really annoying, I've just left GTAV. Some tit was/is on there playing his god awful metal over the entire game. What's worse is he's trying to sing to it, and I emphasise "trying". Ruining the entire game for everyone. So, you're saying I should opt for a full headset? What one should I go for that wont cost an arm and a leg, but will still be decent quality?

You should be able to get one for 30USD or so. I personally wouldn't bother with a 5.1/7.1 surround variant. A simple stereo one is fine. Did you have a preference of 3.5mm jack or USB?

Agreed. It will cut way down on the background noise.
