Hey there, I sent a mail regarding this question but got an automated response, figured it would be better asking here:
Hello there, my name is Alexander.

No, it is not. I don't know why people believe this. Theft is theft. It is theft whether you make money off of your theft or not.
If I steal your bicycle and then give your bicycle away to someone else, does that make it legal? No, it does not. It is still theft. I have stolen your bicycle. The fact that I gave your bicycle away afterwards does not alter that fact.
If you do not profit from your theft it may mean that you pay less damages to the plaintiff in court when you are sued. But that is all.
I get your point here, but I've seen countless occurrences of virtual property being used with or without permission as long as credits are given and it's being used for a specific purpose relevant to the assets. Well, anyway, at least I cared to ask! But I still want to wait for a confirmation.
As far as I know you can only use those assets for the game the assets are made for. Bethesda might not own all the assets directly and only got a license to use them for the game the assets are in.
I doubt you will get a response here since Bethesda employees rarely post here. You could possibly pm Gstaff.
