I've run into a problem with the Anvil recommendation quest for the Mages guild. It's at the point where I must rent a room at the Brina Cross Inn in order to advance the quest, but apparently the script that removes ownership of the bed is faulty, so the innkeeper acts like I already have the room when I ask him. So I'm stuck. Anyone know a way to reset ownership of the room? I am on the PS3 GOTY edition of Oblivion.

Sorry I can't help. Have you tried the Oblivion Wiki? That is all I can suggest. Go there, go to quests and then to the quest you are on. They lists bugs and any work around if there is any. Sorry I can't be more of help and good luck.
