Your opinion on the Dark Brotherhood

Post » Tue Dec 27, 2016 11:34 pm

I am wondering what other players opinion is on the Dark Brotherhood. I personally like the Dark Brotherhood it gives you a lot of gold just for completing contracts. And it gives you really nice items like awesome armor, powerful daggers, the best horse in the game, and more. You can get really rich if you do the Dark Brotherhood. If your looking for a lot of money this is a really good option for you. Now, enough of my opinion, whats your opinion on the dark brotherhood?

I had forced myself on playing a dark brotherhood assassin in the past and i was very disappointed by their petty missions. I mean come on, there are people marking beggars and old ladies for killing? Really? And the organization after a handful of those petty targets, is back in shape and able to target the number one most difficult person for assassination and one of his relatives? Ok whatever! The writers could have done a lot better but hey, 11/11/11...

I prefer to play a freelancer assassin than being a member of this joke.

I love Cicero though and i always leave some potions and food near him when i found him ripped apart by Arnbjorn. :P

About the same as my opinion about DG, and the Thieves Guild, and the MQ - nopenopenope. As with all of those, I played it once. Well, I played the MQ/CW twice - once each side....

I like how tied to the main questline it is. And also fleshes out a great follower in Cicero. I like the TG more, but it feels unfinished. Why have all of those unique characters (hello Vex) and do nothing with them? :\

Did the DB once 360... once DiD competition and once as a Role Play, Bard Assassin... It was a very good RP and I had a lot of fun with it... but I think the DB quest-line a bit trite... I mean the contract's... svck... I mean you should have contract's for people like Nazeem or one of the Battle-born's... Important people...but you go from lowest of low to a contract for the most important person in the Empire...

My character Lauren thinks they're a far cry from their Cyrodiil counterpart (yes, I know she's practically over 200 years old but that's for another thread :P), and actually prefers the thrill of doing missions for the good factions to what she calls "dull work killing beggars".

And her alignment is chaotic evil. Make of what of what you will.

You're.....

And not good. I'd rather deal with the Thieves Guild.

My favorite guild and questline, with two or three of the most tragic stories in the game.
