So...

I finished up the Fellglow quest (for the mage's college).... and my third book is stuck up on some rafters. Autosaved has saved over EVERYTHING with this dungeon completed, so I cannot restart it to redo the dungeon unless I go back 2 days (which means redoing several quests, killing 3 dragons, and whatever else I did)....

My first thought was something would do noclip (I am on a PS4 but figured it would be available). I guess that doesn't exist. I tried fireballing it.. shouting at it... going in and out of the dungeon. Am I really going to have to redo 2 days of work...................................... I only have til Jan 9 and then back to grad school... help!

Tried and arrow yet? I use them to get coin purses that are in rafters all the time...but your problem my be where the collision IS and where the book apperars to be. Use the shout's to all sides of it.. and pay attention IF it moves even a slight bit...and which direction..

edit... your better off getting in the habit of using hard saves...then turning off the auto saves, which tend to save over, instead of using a new slot.

Do you have shouts? Try using Unrelenting Force.

A lesson hard learned... It doesn't wiggle, move, budge or anything. It is quite possibly stuck IN the wall rather than on the rafter.

if you got the telekinesis spell give that a try
