Why Skyrim Remastered is a terrible game for PC users

Post » Mon Jan 02, 2017 5:26 pm

I have enjoyed the past skyrim 4. It was a great game for this time. But then this horrible game called Skyrim 2 Remastered released and I am very angry at Bethesda. Here is my rant

1. 5 gigabytes for mods is too low, I have a 2 terabyte drive and I needed some skyrim mods, but I could only get 5 gigabytes. Which is not a lot at all.

2. The skyrim mods are starting to lack skill. These mods don't have skill like they used to back in skyrim 4.

3. The mods are ruining skyrim they are no good anymore.

4. You can't smash PEOPLE in skyrim. I was trying to smash horker but skyrim dumbmaster wouldn't let me.

5. The storyline is trash, the side quests are terrible and not worth my time.

6. I died going into the first dungeon, they need to really reduce their difficulty or else nobody will be able to play this game.

That's why skyrim remasteded svcks. I would rather play my skyrim mash up on minecraft. Bethesda really needs to get their act up together and start making good games again. Activision makes better games then this, and this is so bad they should buy the rights to it. Terrible game, do better next time and have multiplayer. I give this game a 3/10 for having bad mods.

There wasn't a Skyrim 4. 4 was Oblivion. If you're on pc there's no limit to the amount of gigs of mods you can add (except you can't go over 255 mods total in number IIRC). If you're on Xbox One, then why are you worried about the pc version?

And there IS a multiplayer skyrim: Elder Scrolls Online.

Happy New Year?

If this was April 1st rather than January 1st I would suspect our legs were being pulled.

Some of those complaints apply to Skyrim in general, not just Remaster. But to each their own.

But as for Remastered mods, what Serethil said.

1. The 5gigs limit is for Xbox One users and for me that is well more than enough even for me on PC that is well more than enough. PS4 are limited to 1 gig and that is likely more than enough for them since they can not use mods that uses external assets.

2. Most of the mods for Skyrim SSE are mods that were done in Old Skyrim. It usually takes quite some time for the advanced mods to be made for the new engine and for PC that might mean they have to wait for SKSE64 which might be in a few months ready for testing.

3. Most of those mods were available for Old Skyrim. If you do not like the mods there is the option to play without. I play Vanilla Skyrim a lot. I also play with mods if I feel the need to.

4. I do not get the point of this. It sounds like you want multiplayer and this is a single player game. I would not want it to be multiplayer since the game would lose out on a lot of small features I like like the individual interactive objects like apples and cabbages.

5.It is the same as in the Old Skyrim. Nothing was changed or added.

6. What first dungeon. This game is an open world game and the first dungeon can be almost anywhere in the game world except maybe in locked areas based on quests.

There was no Skyrim 4. Skyrim was the 5th in the Eleder Scrolls series.

Nice opening post mate. In the meanwhile i'm going to make some popcorn and wait for the thread to take it's course. I love reading long serious and thoughtful answers directed to a person who is playing a video game for four years without knowing it's proper name. :P

1. The 5gb limit is for the Xbox One, PC will never have a gb limit of mods you can download as many mods as you want for the PC version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on PC.

2. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition just came out two months ago, just wait for SKSE to get ported to the PC version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. You should then get more PC gamers who make mods to make mods that add new skills and change the existing skills.

3. What?

4. Again What?

5. Bethesda Softworks and Bethesda Game Studios never promised any new content or new expansion packs to sell for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. A few of us want one last one though.

6. How do you even die in the first beginning dungeon when you start The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for the first time? That is the most easiest dungeon to clear out.
