My fps for Skyrim Special Edition is at 7-8 at the moment and when i launched the game for the first time a message popped up on the launcher saying "couldn't find my graphics card" and then put me on the lowest options there is so then i launched up the game thinking it was nothing then when i finished the part at Helgen as soon as i was out the fps dropped very much. do i need a new graphics card?

1st is your graphic's card working with other games.... if so, then no you don't need another one. Make sure your drivers are up to date and that everything is working properly.
