Warning: This includes a big list of mods! Like I said in the title, I am desperate, and I have no idea what to do. I have warned you!

So, I’ve never done mods before, I am sadly not a gaming PC owner, but I am the owner of an Xbox One, a birthday gift I was more than a little shocked to receive. Skyrim SE came along with it, and I am having trouble with the mod load order. I have a little less than 1 gig left out of 5gb, so…I have a lot, and every guide I’ve come across isn’t as helpful as I would hope. For instance, they list categories to follow but I’m somewhat tech-stupid (hence why I’m here) and can never figure out if certain mods fit category A or B.

I’m having various issues such as the game crashing quite a bit (which I expected to happen because of mods once or twice every week or so, not three or four times within a few hours of playing), decently large but seemingly simple clothing mods don’t show up at all and leave NPCs walking around town square in their smallclothes, adoption attempts don’t give the necessary dialogue option, and I’ve discovered that a Lydia appearance-modifier apparently has a fully detailed body down to her hairless funzone. I know this because every time we leave one area and go to another, once the loading screen disappears, so does the outfit I gave her. As a bisixual woman who loves seeing naked women, this wouldn’t be as much of a problem if I was expecting to turn around and see boobs, but since this is a normally PG-13 game, it’s a bit of a shock every time.

I am going to go all out – this is an embarrassed act of desperation – and simply list everything I have loaded, listed how the load order is at this moment.

Hey I don't know if this helps at all but that's quite a lot of mods to be running on an Xbox, and I believe that you will encounter MANY problems unless you narrow down that list to a few that you really like.

That's what I was wondering too, but I have a lot of space on my Xbox, and I can't imagine why they would say "Here's a GB allotment" but not make it possible to use it, you know? I don't know, I'm just torn. I am actually looking at my list now and figuring out what I would be fine with deleting, but I'd be pretty disappointed since it will be a long time before I can get a gaming PC that can handle the mods I want to use. Most of my gaming things are gifts, I don't make much so it's hard to save up for a computer.

I know what you mean, but I've only ever seen people using nearly that many mods on very good pcs. My xbox gets laggy with just ten mods. In fact, my game is currently broken with like 6 mods. I made a topic and its currently right below yours lol. Best of luck!

Oh man, that svcks! A lot of the mods on my list are in the KB size range, but I just deleted a handful - some KB and some MB - and I'm going to hard restart my system and see what happens. Best of luck to you too, maybe one day Microsoft will get this sorted and we can all have the mods we deserve, haha!

The only way I know of to sort a load order that big (and get it anywhere close to right and running) is with LOOT. Without a PC.... well.... good luck. I do mean that sincerely, but - that's a lot of mods, and some of them might be trying to add to the same leveled lists, and you can't use a bashed patch for leveled lists without a PC....

Really, you should probably start over, clean install, and add a couple of "can't live without" mods. See how it goes. Then add a couple more.... etc. And that's about all I know to tell you - I play on PC....

Faithful rabbit companion? Srs? These are the mods you can't choose from?


As mentioned that's a lot of mods and the Xbox can't handle that many without issues. A PC can, but that's not a proper PC.
