As amazing as that sounds, Where is anyone getting paid? Sounds like work fro no benefit. Well, except to the end user.

Consoles are NEVER going to have mods. Microsoft and Sony simply wont allow it. Its not Bethesda that says hmm only PC's will get mod support, its Microsoft and Sony saying no because they cant profit from it.

It'd be good for their reputation, which honestly is on the ropes at the best of times. Which reminds me of another reason I want mods for my PS3, bug fixes that Bethesda don't bother doing. >_<

Wouldn't mind them if I at least knew the community could compensate for their screw ups. <_<





And sadly that's the main flaw with the gaming industry that we have today, it's all money money money. A damn shame too, I miss the days when games were made for gamers by gamers, not by corporations trying to make their next ten million sales on another tedious sequel.

I'm sure that the CS will be PC only. It would be nice if the console versions supported mods, it would heal one major rift in the community. I doubt it will happen, since consoles are to PC as [authoritarian, autocratic country] is to [free, democratic country].

I hope that only PC will get mods.

Not that they (we) are selfish little gits but more realistic !! --- the consoles will never have support for modding because MS and SONY are too worried that modding games can make them unstable and cause crashing of the systems (which it can) and do not want to give up the opportunity to sell DLC content and make money off of it rather than have free content available.
