Interesting...I wonder who they're going to get to play Aku since Mako passed away years ago.

Something I've wondered as well. I'm sure if Mickey Mouse's voice has been the same for generations the same can be done for Aku.

I remember watching a few episodes of season 1 when it aired and then stopping for whatever reason, lol

If you like story driven shows its pretty good. It will be a good shot of nostalgia from my teen years. I think it holds a big connection for me because I can remember the commercials for it when I was recovering from a 2 month coma.
