I love the Nords of Skyrim. In previous posts and topics I've made no secret about the fact that they are my favourite race and therefore my go-to race.


What I want to know, for any other Nord lovers out there, what did you name that Nord?


I like to make my Nord names by using ones from past Elder Scrolls games (makes the name lore friendly to me) and just wanted to hear some yours if you guys would be happy to oblige...


I have 3 favourite Nord characters that I am currently alternating between. Each different in their own way, and I like each of their names and monikers...


Sjarnfid Wolf-Heart... Harbinger of the Companions and destined for Hircines Hunting Grounds.


Bjalfi Snow-Rider... Follower of Kyne and survivor amongst Skyrim's terrains.


Fjrokvar Cloud-Seeker... Follower of Talos and truest of Stormcloaks.

Nords are also my go to race as well. And when I do play them I usually play females. That being said, I wait her lean towards Icelandic names or gothic for my female nords.

I use Dovahzul, as the Nordic language is presumably heavily influenced by the dragons.

Some names I've used include:

• Ahkrin


• Beshtur


• Kreindaal


• Kulas


• Malmar


• Nalas


• Tumul


• Vahdin

I named mine Korr (Windstrider), but it's actually the name for a Minotaur character I had once in another game.

It fits though, since there's a Skjor and a Korst.. and Kor is one of the dragon words.
