Good, Small, Interesting Mods

Post » Thu Jul 15, 2010 4:09 am

Hey everyone,

I just reinstalled Oblivion yet again (This is like the 30th time, 4th re-purchase...just can't ever keep track of the disks). Before I had a ton of mods, and eventually just got bored, like I will again. This time however I'm trying to keep it light. What I'm looking for are suggestions or just your favorite Small, interesting mods. Things like little altered areas of the landscape, or a small interesting dungeon. I'm not looking for anything like OOO, I already have all the "big" mods I want to use, UL and Weather all Natural, and a couple other naturey/foliage based mods. I'm really more interested in the outside worldspace this time around, I kinda just want to wander.

So basically, what are YOUR favorite small (10mb or less, more or less because I'm on slow net), Interesting landscape mods, small villages, dungeons...ect.?

Also, I know there is a search button. I know where the nexus top 100 is.

Small as in size or impact?

A small esp only mod can drastically change gameplay; while a big, giant mod could do nothing more than add a shop full of custom clothes, armor, and weapons.

EDIT: Yeah... I should really learn to read whole things...

For me, it's a coin toss between http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15501 and http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14316(which requires OBSE), both of which you aren't looking for, but both I couldn't live without.
I don't know of many dungeons or landscaping mods that I'd use(though I could be convinced to use some easily), but I find those two mods to be must haves for me. I use the crystal ball scrying on my off time(when my characters are not blowing up people), and finders keepers when I'm looking for items, often ones dropped by my dead foes(or when I'm looking for certain things, like weapons or magic items).

I meant small in MB download, sorry I wasn't clearer. Just small obscure mods that you enjoy/couldn't play without. Maybe something that adds a small village in a clearing, or just something that adds a clearing with some ruins or something.

Arthmoor's villages are very nice.

I'm still quite fond of Let the People Drink.

New Roads and Bridges really improves the area around IC isle.

T.I.E. is probably the mod that alters the game most drastically compared to it's download size.
