Chill the frick out, people.

Most of what I've been seeing on these forums lately is whiney babies complaining about rumors. I've honestly seen the most annoying, stupid OP's in my days on gaming forums recently and I don't even know if some of these people are trolling or not.

Man up, people. Skyrim will be an exceptional game no matter what. In all honesty, nobody cares about your raw opinion on the game. Don't go on the forums and moan and complain about some issue that you think is going to tear the game asunder without suggesting something or at least giving some facts about it. Relax, the game will be entertaining and yes, it will have flaws. But every game in existence has flaws. Nothing is perfect. What I would do consider the Bethesda devs as oblivious to the forums and suggestions and opinions of the players completely. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. But don't cry about it. Oblivion was fantastic, as with Morrowind and the entire TES series. If you've followed TES wrong you'd be wrong to think ill about Skyrim at this point.

If Skyrim doesn't turn out to be an A+ game go ahead and burn down your house, but control yourselves. It's only a game, everyone needs to chill out quite a lot about it. The TES series has proved itself the best series in the world (imo) and Skyrim will be an innovational game. Worst case scenario, Skyrim turns out to be a HORRIBLE game that nobody likes and Bethesda will improve in the next game of the series. It's not the end of the world!

[On a side note, does anyone hate the ":'(" emoticon as much as I do, or is it just me?]

Whining about whiners is doing nothing but adding to the problem.

People are going to vent and share their opinion, and they have every single right to since its an open forum... just don't read posts that you don't like and the problem is solved

I'm sure it'll be great, oversimplified or not. That's why I'm upgrading my PC and buying a 24' monitor just for it (well, and for Mass Effect 3).

On the other hand, there are few things that mods can't fix... :)

Ignorance is not bliss. Ignoring absurd rumors and not refuting them is like ignoring a wildfire and not putting it out.

There are way, way more people positive about Skyrim, than people that are negative.

The whining isn't that bad.

Well, this isn't going to go well. I'll repeat what Ro said:

Some people complain about a perceived fault in the game, even though there is little information to go on yet - fine as long as it is civil and constructive there is no harm. Some people complain about complainers, that is where the line is drawn so I am closing this topic.
