Sorry, I wasn't able to mod for more than a week, until about a few days ago.
I just want to let you guys know that Westly's sent me the meshes, and I'm still working on this. I'll try and get an update, and video, for saturday.

woo yay I love this, if only you had more manpower, perhaps all of the sixth house could be revamped like this I think the casting animation would look particularly great on the ascended sleepers.

Also, Westly, care to make a comment about Saint Jiub's question? Did you finalize the mesh and textures? Will we be getting both the open and closed mask?

@Scorpius - I don't know about Ascended Sleepers, their mesh is completely different than Dagoth's. Though that has gotten me thinking about replacement versions of the Ash Ghoul, Ash Vampire, Ash Slave, and Ash Zombie. I know that the Ascended Sleepers are cooler than all of them, but I can't imagine a modder being able to manipulate a new model to work with an existing animation. I bet it would have to be made entirely from scratch.

indeed but the awesomeness of the ascended sleepers + replacement of stock animation would more than make up for the effort required, I dont know much about animation myself, I'm more of a scripter, but if I could do it the first thing I'd work on is making the 6th house a bit more intimidating starting with some sinister ascended sleeper anims

hmmmm is there any way to extract just the arm movement from an animation and splice that on to the rest of the sleeper's animation with a little tweaking? (sorry if this is a stupid question I know nothing about the animation data )

People are so impatient these days. Seems only yesterday you'd have to wait for forty five minutes, at least, before you could download a song off the internet. Sorry, I said I would get an update for this done, but with college and some other RL crap getting in the way, I can't mod as much I'd like to atm, and I've been spending all my time on Skyrim.
I thought I'd have some time for this after dropping my animation replacer, but this is a tough, and rather boring request which I can't really find the time to work on atm.

By the end of May, I should hopefully have more free time though.
Once again, sorry for the delay, it's a long and dull request and I guess a lot of it has been me procrastinating, but I'll definitely release the animations I've made so far later.
I don't mind westly releasing his replacer and waiting for the animations, for those who want it for screenshots, but I think he's busy with other stuff atm too.

It's been one day shy of a month since this thread was last bumped and quite a long time more than that that this thread has been updated with actual news.

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see the point in bumping this thread endlessly month after month (it's been going on since last October at least)... I think the modders will post when and if they have news, they are not going to just forget to post updates; in the meantime, it must be stressful and slightly intimidating to see this thread getting bumped every week to ask for news; I know that personally I would feel intimidated :/ If the point is to show "interest", I think they get it by now.
I know everytime this thread is back on page 1, I check it and feel disappointed when all I see is a bump post; I would rather not get my hopes up (yes, I am interested in this wip as well) and only see this thread on page 1 because there is something new to read in it.

I guess what I mean is that I think all these bumps put useless pressure on the modders (I could be wrong of course, but it's just a hobby; maybe they don't feel like working on it anymore, which would be understandable), and don't make for a very interesting topic (you have to browse through pages of bumps to see updates from the modders). Maybe letting the thread go and waiting for an update could be a better idea?

(this is just my opinion, hope you don't take it the wrong way)
