was this ever actually OFFICIALLY released in english? i always thought it sounded interesting but i didn't really want to bother with fan patches.

Despite all the begging on their forums for them to do so, no, the company never officially released an english version

They don't really seem to acknowledge the eglish portion of their forums any more either.

Typical. It appears that the box art for every non-Chinese distribution got rid of the Fallout 2 logo element before people caught onto them. :rolleyes:

This copy is entirely in Chinese. I can't read it, but I can understand spoken. We'll see how far I get before I give up.

It is not Chinese game, it's German and it never had any Fallout-related logos or art to begin with. That chinese version is definitely pirated.
