Fallout 2 questions

Post » Wed Jul 21, 2010 7:40 pm

Ok, can you get a dog in Fallout 2? Cause, I did that quest for that guy in the first town, and now I want one. And, how do you pull up that targeting system to hit different parts of the body?

Also, I guess this can be used by anyone else that has questions about it. I'm sure some random person will drop by and answer them.

You can get three dogs;

K-9; He's in Navarro.
Piriah Dog; Bad luck dog, random encounter
Dogmeat; Normal dog, random encounter

As for targeting system, right click the weapon box thing (you know what I mean, as if you were going to reload) and a small, yellow bulleye type thing should appear, that's it.

Glad I could help ^^;

~and the dog won't fight, always runs, and has like 700 hitpoints.

Food is just there doesn't really provide any benefits aside from giving some cash when sold. The only thing that is pretty important in terms of food is Nuka-Cola, but not dire or anything. Restraunts are a better source of health than food though. Also, remember not to run headfirst into any enemies that was my first mistake in the Fallout series because the game is incredibley hard lol.
