An Essay on War; and all of its segments
A note: This uses ideas, theories, and other things that are not discovered yet in the TES world. Physics, Chemistry, and advanced Mathematics are used in this, which most have only been scratched in the TES world. However, I will include many important factors of the TES world; including races, magic, and astronomy. Please enjoy.
Also note: This might confuse you, so I discourage you if you don't like science or learning, or swords?
The Sword
When you are asked about the Medieval times, what comes up in your mind? A knight in shining armor? The Chinese Dynasties? Maybe even Heroes defeating Dragons? Well, what do all those have in common? Almost every single person in this earth associates the medieval times with the sword.
The sword is genius, extremely genius. If you stop and think about it, you find out what it really is. But, before I can explain the mechanics of the sword, I must explain the theory of energy.
Everything has energy. Whether it be the Energy of Movement (Kinetic), the Energy of Heat (Heat), or the Energy of Electricity (Electric), everything has energy. The Law of Conservation of Energy states that energy cannot be destroyed, nor created. It is all transferred. So, how do you sit on a chair if your kinetic energy is pushing down on it? Because the chair is matching that energy. But what happens if you put an elephant on a chair? The massive energy that the elephant holds breaks the chair, which cannot match the energy.
Now, the sword is all about putting A LOT of energy into one tiny little space. You use all the energy in your muscles, and it is concentrated on one little point. That point could be the tip of a sword. Now, with all that energy, concentrated on the tiniest speck, means that energy is multiplied god only knows how many times.
It slices through the skin, that cannot match that MASSIVE energy, and goes through major organs.
Thus, the genius of the sword.
So, when a warrior picks up a sword, he doesn't see the beauty of the sword. He just picks it up and kills somebody with it. Those who know the true beauty of it can learn the many styles of the sword. Those 'enlightened' are the greatest fighters, because they know their weapon, and they know how to use it.
