Yes, they are the ones who followed Magnus. They tore the star-holes in the sky.

Magna Ge means "children of Magnus." Yeah...

Well, for all I know, an orphan is someone without a parent.

From http://www.imperial-library.info/obscure_text/vehk_teaching.shtml:
...according to the texts, Mnemoli is a wayward child of ANU, one of a pantheon of forgotten deities known as the 'Star Orphans'... a tribe of gods and goddesses that apparently felt abandoned when the Sun Withdrew from the World-Making.

Why would they be confused when Magnus left, if it wasn't because they were left behind (=orphaned?)
And even though Mnemoli is described as a "Blue Star", she clearly isn't a "star" in the same meaning as all the other ones up there, because:
1, It is blue, while the other holes to Aetherius are characterized by a bright, white-yellow colour and light.
2, It is moving around (whenever it can), and I believe that the general consensus is that the "usual" stars are fixed in the sky?

Blue can mean murky; perhaps it means "obscure" in a sense, in reference to the fact that you don't necessarily see Mnemoli, which I understand to be the Dreamsleeve as well, correct?

We're mortal because we don't have Memory. We basically return to it upon death...or some crap like that, right? I haven't done a lot of thinking into it yet.

Yes. At least that's the theory based on what has been observed so far.

The Aedra are a group of et'Ada that originate from an older group of et'Ada, who were created when Anuiel and Padomy created the Gray Maybe (Nirn). They were given form when Akatosh came into existence and gave them structure. They are the opposite of the Daedra and are worshipped by the Imperials as the eight and one. The one being Talos.

Forgive anything wrong right now. I writing quickly. I'll edit it later.

Maybe you're right. I'll keep my reservations, though, but for now, I'll give in to your greater knowledge.
