On question two: I used mod weapons because I hated the vanilla ones.

I loved the Tenpenny Tower quest; most of all for imposing some harsh realism on the naive and egalitarian type of players who went for the politically correct 'feel good' decision. I especially loved hearing them whine about it on the forums. Due to the delay of the negative effects of the quest outcome, it wasn't practical for them to reload either. I bathed in their tears.

Hey Mr. Poopypants, chillax. It's in the right section. I put it here on purpose because we're all waiting for New Vegas to come out and we love Fall Out 3 and since I don't have New Vegas yet to poll on, why not take a trip down associated memory lane.

Memory Lane, the Fallout 3 forum, is only two clicks away though.

I never found the dog or it's pup in the game. I've explorer most of the wasteland and have done all the DLC except the Mothership Zeta. I'll have to see where I went wrong in it. I liked the super mutant companion and he died in the Capitol building taking on a super mutant behemoth. He fought for quite a while before dieing. I didn't both reloading because it was a good death.

In a year or two I'll play again as an evil character to get the companions I didn't get last time and do the evil things like blow up megatron, let the ghouls in ten penny and free the pitt slaves.

My favorite weapon is not listed -- the Dart Gun.

Also Lincoln Repeater is not specifically listed so, I voted Hunting Rifle.

And the Xuanlong Rifle is not specifically listed so, I voted Chinese Assault Rifle.

A thousand hours. That's insane. I'm at 130 hours on my 3094th save. That's about 1 save every 2.6 minutes. The game crashed constantly after I upgraded my vid/audio card. It hasn't crashed for a while now because summer is over and the room's ambient temp is lower.

40-80 hours on my first playthrough not sure in total altogether.

Killing the trio is actually bad karma, not good, fyi. I've killed 'em every time except once.

10 characters with a hundred hours average. My first survived for 200. I can only prove about 350 hours though. It was before I got Xfire

I'm jealous. I don't like the vanilla weapons as much either, but I'm stuck on the console version. I like the Railway gun though.

On question one, got about 160+ per character and I have 4 Characters now.

Don't know whether to buy New Vegas or wait until it comes out as a GOTY with all DLC. too much not getting done with Fallout 3 in the drive as is :fallout:
