Is it true that you can write on your bullets?

Post » Sat Jul 24, 2010 10:48 am

I can't remember where I read it, but someone was going on about the level of customisation in the game for the weapons like being able to pick the scope, the magazine style, what colour the gun is ect. but he also said you could write on bullets.

Is this confirmed to be true? The reason why I'm not 100% on this is because of the writting on the rocket in the trailer.

Cheers.

I have heard nothing of this, and doubt it is a feature in the game. There are a bunch of things in the trailer that cannot be done in the actual game.

Someone saw the cinematic trailer and made a stupid guess. That's all. Move along.

Even if it was true there's no point in writing on the bullets, no one's gonna see it.

True. It would be a gimmick without a real purpose.

But what if they bullets were really big, and you had to throw them at people?....

The only reason i could see having writing on a bullet would be is you could see them in a theater mode. You would follow the bullets path, pause it, then watch it fly into a body( why else would you look at a col bullet scene).
But since most bullets are likely to be a long line or something like that.

A light, a medium or a heavy man?

Really wouldn't make sense to be able to write on bullets, nobody would ever see it without slowing down frame by frame.

Unless there was a killcam for after you died that slowed it all down and you got to see it somehow, this idea wouldn't be worth it. You'd be wanting to get back in the game rather than watch some bullet that someone named go through you....
