"Oh [censored], oh [censored], Dammit!" Walter cursed furiously as the murderous figure inched closer towards him, a red glare pierced through the dark corners of his mind. Walter pulled the trigger and emptied his clip, he threw the magazine too the ground, realizing he was out of ammo, he was done for. The agile creature ripped through the dark, damp air of the metro station and pounced on the young mercenary, clawing through his tanned flesh. Walter's mutilated corpse dropped down to the filthy metro floor and was stacked upon the corpses of his allies.
They were doomed with from the start..

Chapter. 1
New Developments
Year: 2280
Location: Bodmian, Headquarters of the Rebellion of the Unknown
Time: Somewhere around midnight
Edmund stampeded through the hallways of Bodmian in a berserk rage.
"I want to know who killed my men!" Edmund bellowed through the large cavern in which they structured as their base, he flung papers and caused a mess of the place. Edmund's Right hand man, Gertrude was pacing behind him, trying to calm him.
"Sir, sir! They might not even be dead, maybe just...just... partying at Rivet City or some such?" Gertrude uttered any excuse he could, this one particularly enraged Edmund even more. He turned around quickly, facing Gertrude and yelling so loudly spit landed on his face.
"You think the reason why none of 201st has returned is because of some silly party at some filth-ridden gondolier, they are my [censored] no-nonsense squad!" Edmund took deep breathes as he awaited Gertrude's response.
"....Sorry sir." Gertrude was embarrassed at his stupid cover story, and tried to remain silent as he stared at the ground.
Edmund gasped profusely, trying to calm himself down. He sighed and plopped down upon his makeshift throne. He moved around in the seat restlessly as he thought of a response, a plan of action, anything that would calm him down.
"Gertrude.." Edmund called out.
"Yes, sir?" Gertrude raised from his silence and tried to maintain direct-eye contact.
"Call Recon Squad Wolfpack to my briefing room at this instant.." Edmund ordered to Gertrude, causing him to reply in his normal "Yes, sir!" and do as commanded.
Edmund raised out of his chair as soon as Gertrude raced out of his throne room. Edmund walked over to his digital map that was located on the wall behind his commanders seat. He stared upon the blue tinted map with a sense of fear in his eyes.
The map's construction was the response of an uprising conspiracy, X's covered many of the areas located upon the map, indicating extinction. First, it was small towns like Tenpenny Tower, and Megaton, hell they even slaughtered the children at Little Lamplight, the only surviving town was Rivet City because of a new defense grid, and its restless on the inside. Now the conspirators target is factions. Many of the waning groups of the Capital Wasteland have united to form the Rebellion of the Unknown, hard to believe Raiders, BoS, Outcasts, and Mercenaries were able to form a union, but everything still isn't well.
The combined knowledge and technology is still hardly comparable to the small streak of piss that the Rebellion has scavenged of the Unknown's weapons and armor. The weapons are powerful, and the armor is as light as Combat Armor and is even more resisting then the armor from the Enclave out west, and we still hardly know anything about the "Unknown" hence the name. The only hope of winning that the Rebellion has is a one in a million, the only advantage they have is the will to live, and fight.
And they are going to need it.
