(WIP) Pandora?, thread 2

Is this still alive?
I really liked this project since some of the most talented modders I know teamed up doing a mod, where the only limit was their imagination. So this mod had the potential to be the most unique landmass mod ever. But I fear that it is dead now, since no updates has come from this in 5 months.

From my point of view I think this is dead. I have made some models, but as no progress in here was made anymore and nobody spoke a word about the project anymore, I finally stopped working on it.

Concerning myself, I can't mod now for some time due to exams and I'm considering quitting modding completely soon. I will help a bit with the Skyrim mod, but those kinda mods I always wanted to make can't be done in this community. And I'm not much into fixing bugs and improving graphics and stuff... :P

Yeah this sorta died out as quickly as it got going.

Anyway, I have plans for something similar to the idea that was started here. Its based on Pandora, sort of, and Heaven (I think thats the name) which is a really cool floating island environment that is featured in the DX11 benchmark thing, along with lots of other artwork of floating island type of environments. I started modeling some islands but I will either scrap them or just release as a resource. Instead I am going to make a tile set so that I can alter the environment as I go along more easily, and so that if anybody likes they can use the bits to make there own environments.

It's a shamer it's dead, I read the threads and was thrilled. Not as much on The concept of Pandora itself, but seeing the best modders including you two working together on something extremely creative, since the one-man projects I otherwise see here has the limitation, that nobody has the time and the talent to do everything nessesary for a spectacular mod. So I was hoping for something to amaze me.

But I hope that the ideas for Pandora will come to some use.

Well it seemed like a cool project, perhaps what was worked on but unfinished could be released as a source for other modders? That way the work would have meant something?
