Recommand me Mod, Morrowind Only, i have no expansion

Post » Sun Jul 25, 2010 9:09 pm

I never used mod before, since i dont want mod that unbalance the game.

Give me a list of good mod, that work with base game only.
This can range from bug fix to user interface to new feature and new quest.

My mods will work. They're town expansions, but not unbalancing though. They are rather detailed so my advice would be not to use em without a decent computer. Only Seyda Neen and Gnisis done atm, more to come.

DL in my signature. :)

Uh... that's a pretty wide field, sport. I'd suggest going to Planet Elderscrolls and taking a look at the Hall of Fame to get you going. Not all of them are going to be Morrowind-only, but there are still a great deal of fantastic mods there :)

I'd have to recommend Bloodmoon and Tribunal, great mods.

That's the problem, though, is that there's a massive amount of mods, ranging from simple graphical upgrades to gameplay tweaks to silly stuff like making Fargoth a Nord. Without knowing your needs, you're basically asking us to go through that 2000000 mod list for you. You see the problem? There are tons of threads exactly like this, you can use those as a base if you want. But trust me, it's a lot more satisfying finding the perfect combo of mods yourself through trial and error than just having a list based on someone else's preferences handed to you.

Is something wrong with your S key?

You should try getting new guilds or something.

The easiest way is to search through PES by searching for mods that have N/A listed for Requirements. Those are usually the ones that don't require the expansions.
Also, search through the old mods that were made before the expansions were owned by everyone. (you can quickly skip to page 279 on PES)

Many, many mods don't "unbalance" the game, but not having the expansions will limitate you a lot. Most people use the expansion when they make their mods so that they can use the resources and new/fixed script functions that they offer.

The Abandoned Well of Dagon Fel is a nice little mod that doesn't need the expansions. (if i remember correctly)

Netch Adamantium Armor is some of my fav armor.

Why i ask for mod and i dont search on the list, is because, most of the mod with a 10/10 rating have less than 10 vote, mean that 3 people voted 10/10 and bang, in hall of fame, so i ask for advice, since i cannot relly on a list like that.

Also, check this thread, almost the same but for oblivion, that i made. I have all oblivion official expansion/addon: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1104226-recommand-me-mod/

There is no particulary mod i try to find on morrowind, just one that are not made by someone in 3 min, and has a lot of bug, or unbalanced.

What i try to say, is if you now mod, that you very like it, or mod that almost everyone use, say it to me. But only mod with no expansion requirement.

what percentage of the game do you feel you have completed? I wouldn't recommend getting mods if you haven't at least played 25-50% of the original content. By that point, you should know what kind of mods you'd be looking for (make the game harder? more realism? better graphics? the list goes on)

basically, just think of something that bugs you about morrowind, and there's probably at least one mod that fixes/adds it.
