Spoiler
During the GNR quest, I nearly crapped myself after that Super Mutant Behemoth came running over that pile of rubble at fast speeds.

The Centuars were really disturbing when I first encountered them. I was really wondering why it was called a Centuar. It definately doesn't look part horse.

The first time I saw a Deathclaw was west of that church to the west of Jury Street Metro. It was walking away, so I decided to follow after it with my Combat Shotgun out. After following it for a few seconds, it stopped walking. I knew before the encounter that they were dangerous. I went into V.A.T.S., and I shot it once or twice with the Combat Shotgun. It started coming after me, and then I walked backwards shooting at it. After a few shots I blew its head off, and I was lucky it didn't even hit me. My first encounter with a Yao Guai didn't go down nearly as well. I did what Three Dog told me not to do.

I recognize your username from somewhere, I think it's the RDR forums.
Anyways, ya, the centaurs are the messed up, but those Failed FEV Xperiments from Vault 87 would've been creepy as hell to fight if they were alive.

Agreed to the fullest extent! they probably would have been as strong as a Behemoth but with a little more HP than an Overlord... That's my opinion tho.

Centaurs at the top of the list. I remember on my first playthrough seeing one on the far side of the Potomac river and wondering "WTH is that?". I steered clear of them for a long time until I was finally forced into close proximity (probably during the Reilly's Rangers quest).

Behemoth was probably the 2nd WTF moment when I finally got to GNR at a tender young age. I think my best gun at the time was a .32 hunting rifle. I cowered in the corner while it killed all the Brotherhood of Steel members. Another time I got jumped by a Behemoth at the Jefferson Memorial on the catwalks. I expended a dozen or two frag mines as I ran laps around the area, kiting the Behemoth. Fortunately, it kept getting stuck on the terrain for a few seconds at a time so I had room to breath. (Now I play MMM, Behemoths are baby mutants compared to their Gargantuan big brothers.)

Albino radscorpions are death incarnate - I hate the buggers. Taking the entomology perk this time so that I can put them down easier.

Giant Radscorpion...those eyes. You may be able to say "Yay I killed this gargantuan beast!" But those eight tiny beady eyes burn a hole into your soul.

On my first playthrough i got lost in the metros trying to find GNR, then I said [censored] it and found rivet city early and skipped a portion of the staged quest.
The second playthrough I got into the scripted battle to GNR, since I was there on my last playthrough the script battle didn't happen and I didnt fight a behemoth.

Then I'm walking down the quare to GNR and I see redding heading over to the bus and hear a BANG BANG. I was like  and freaked out as a behemoth ran right up on sarah
