Where to find Daedric armor?

Post » Tue Jul 27, 2010 5:47 pm

I had already gone to Roxey Inn a few days back, and now don't know where to find my new level-20 daedric armor. Help? What are some quests or places where you can find daedric armor? :yucky:

Since daedric armor is heavy, marauder dungeons are good places to look. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Marauder_Dungeons

This is the better place for this thread anyway, so I'm just going to transfer my answer over from the other one:

All level 20 really means is that Daedric is added to the leveled lists. There's no telling where or even if it'll actually show up - it's just a possibility after level 20, while it wasn't a possibility before.

There are a very few named NPCs who are guaranteed to have the best possible armor for the player's level, but they're unique and the odds are that you've already killed them - Bjalfi the Contemptible - the guy who swiped Rockshatter from Maeva the Buxom outside of Anvil - is one such. Other than that, all you can do is try to find as many heavy armor characters as possible, just to improve the chance that you'll run across one who's wearing Daedric. Malacath's quest (the one with the ogres) is, as just noted, a good one to try on, just because all of the guards wear at least relatively high leveled heavy armor, though it's still not guaranteed to be Daedric. Other than that - go through all the marauder dungeons you can find and just see. Just keep finding and fighting heavy armor characters and see what comes up..... It's a bit more likely on bosses than normal marauders, but really all you can do is just keep looking.

Please use your already open thread on this and if you need it moved, report it and we will do so gladly. And please take a moment to read our rules regarding cross posting. Thanks. :)
