YES.

Sometimes I have exploring days where I walk around looking to fill in all my location triangles, but if I'm doing a quest and I can fast travel, I will. If I've started a quest, I want to DO the quest, not fanny about with scorpions.

Right now, 98.1% of the time, I don’t use it. I’m trying hard not to use it, but the anol retentive side of me, sometimes can’t resist grabbing everything that’s not nailed down. In the past, I found myself spending the bulk of my game time looting, selling, and sorting at home base.

It hit home one day when I had 2 hours to game. I was getting ready for a trip to the Pitt, and after I’d sold, sorted my gear, and outfitted my character, over half my time was gone. I’ve been using MLPS Big Daddy’s system of - even trading, estimating weight for ALL items I carry, and no fast travel. So far it’s been great fun!

Every now and again, after clearing a town or dungeon, I’m tempted to fast travel in order to transport my loot; so far I’ve resisted that temptation and I haven’t regretted it yet.

I’ve been playing this game for about 10 months straight. The last few weeks, I’ve seen things I’ve never seen, or haven’t seen since I first started this game, I would recommend “no fast travel” for anybody who has already played this game through at least 2 or 3 times. Hell I’d recommend it for anybody, no matter how much they’ve played this game!

That's me in a nutshell. I've completed the main quest without mods or DLCs about seven times, and each time I cringe starting over or just traveling around. I will definitely try this, brother!

Well, I fast-travel, but it's only when I need to go somewhere and want to it fast... And if am about to die and don't want to use Stim-packs (I fast travel to Megaton)...

I use it and I don't use it...

I use it if I'm about to start a quest and want to drop some equipment at homebase so that I have room to carry new stuff from the quest I'm about to do. Otherwise I just explore and wander the wastes finding stuff I've never found before

^^^
I only use it when collaring potential slaves. Other then that I find the game a lot more immersive without fast traveling.

When I use it, I like to imagine that I'm appearing out of thin air at my destination like a crazy space man.
