That's not to say I have anything against such a mod, but I don't feel there's a conceptual or logical issue with what Luck effects, it seems more that you have a problem with Luck being a SPECIAL attribute at all.
I don't see how commenting on how luck affects gambling is some kind of arbitrary statement about whether it should exist.
In every single fallout game (since I've known about the perk requirements) I keep my luck at 6. Any lower, you can't get (in other fallouts) bonus ranged damage/ROF, and in all fallouts you can't get better criticals. Luck has an appropriate role in affecting critical chance. I just don't get why it has to be the make or break as to whether or not you can win money at the casino.
Get what I'm saying? You might as well not play the minigames unless you have a high luck stat, or can pump it up with items/hacks. If you have a high luck stat, you can walk into a casino and feel
guaranteed that you will come out thousands of caps richer, kind of defeating the purpose of calling it 'gambling' when you can determine your odds from a special stat rather than the rules of the game you are playing...
