Please help, Having trouble with GECK

Now that we have an object "VHallSm1WayR01" in the render window, and know how to navigate our cell, lets make a hallway. First, select our Hallway piece in the render window and hit "T". This will center our camera over top of the selected object. Now (with "Snap to Angle" ) rotate the piece 90 degrees by Right Clicking and dragging while your cursor is over it. The object should now face left to right, as pictured below.

By default, the top of your screen is north when using T to center/zoom your view over the current selection. It is possible to override this with a special NorthMarker object found under the statics heading.
With the new Hall section selected, press "Ctrl-D" to duplicate it. This makes an exact clone of the selected object(s). You may not realize at first that you've created a new object(s) because of overlap. However; if you look in the Object List, you will notice two "VHallSm1WayR01" hallway pieces. Select and Drag the newly made hallway piece just to the left of the current piece. Make sure you have "Snap to Grid" on, which will ensure a precise tile. Check against the second image below to see how the snapped pieces should look.

Im having problem with the second paragraph, I copied the VHallSm1WayR01 (which is a Vault hallway) and it overlapped like it said.. but when I try to move it with the middle mouse button so I can connect them and make a hallway it drags BOTH of the "VHallSm1WayR01"'s. Basically the tutorial said its going to overlap when you copy the other peice of the hallway but to just select it and drag it over to connect them, but instead of dragging just one its dragging them both. Im sorry for being a pain but I figured alot of you guys had experience with this.

Are you holding control when you try to move the piece? The GECK seems to prefer the nonselected piece for interaction, so additional clicking will select it instead of moving it. Since you're working with large snaps, just hit 'G' once or twice. This will nudge the selected piece up 3 units and help you get your cursor to actually get to it instead of the other piece. As soon as you start moving, it'll snap back to its original Z value, so you don't have to worry about that.

Also, make sure you have the render window selected when you Ctrl+D, otherwise no duplication will take place.

This should probably be posted in the G.E.C.K forums.

Er! No matter what I try they still both move at the same time I cant move them seperately. I even tried just dragging another VHallSm1WayR01 over to the window instead of duplicating but they still both move together. I try clicking just ONE of them and moving it to connect it to the other one but they both move instead of just one

This is seriously making me angry, Ive been working on this for two hours. Im following the tutorial word for word but I cant seem to get this. All I need to do is take one peice of Hallway, then duplicate it, then move the peice of hallway I duplicated to connect to the first peice. The only thing I can do is rotate it though, if I try moving it it just moves both of them at the same time. It will NOT let me move one peice of hallway seperately.

Just to make sure... You are LEFT clicking and dragging to move an item, correct? Not middle mouse or spacebar? If snap is on, are the pieces snapping? If you can rotate only one item, then there's no reason you wouldn't also be moving only that item. I mean no disrespect, but it sounds more like you're moving the camera.
