Since I'm busy with uninstalling MWE I find myself in a situation where I can't start the FPS optimizer and Morrowind at the same time (The optimizer has a function to start Morrowind when it is started, but it skips the launcher, wich I don't like)

So I googled a bit. and found a way to make a shortcut through a txt. file formed to a .bat file wich started both applications... but when I use it the stranged thing happens.....

The FPS optimizer starts just fine... But for some reason the launcher version of Morrowind is started with only Bloodmoon active.... And when I look in the Datafiles there is nothing mentioned at all.. (not even the MW and Bloodmoon .esm files) But when I start the very same laucher from the ordinary shortcut it works just fine...

Does anyone know how to solve this? or isn't it fixable?

I'm not sure why it does this, but the Morrowind launcher doesn't work correctly when launched with a .bat file from outside of the Morrowind directory. A work-around would be to place the .bat file in your Morrowind directory and put a shortcut to it on your desktop for launching it.

Because the Launcher looks for Morrowind.ini in . (current folder). If it's started somewhere else it will not find the ini file. A workaround is to use "cd" to switch to the Morrowind folder and then start Morrowind Launcher. Something like this:


cd D:\Morrowind
D:
fps_opt.exe &
Morrowind Launcher.exe
