Combat and Stealth may be combined?

Just thinking, what if this were to happen and there was only combat/stealth and magic instead of the 3.

Reason number 1: The menu screenshot shows 7 skills that fit in the magic section (alteration, destruction, conjuration, illusion, restoration, enchant, alchemy (although it's possible this could fit in perhaps a smaller 4th subset along with smithing and, say, speechcraft or something that fits outside the original three)) and there are only 18 skills.

2: Magic in previous ES games was a bit overpowered IMO and many skills could be made redundant by a few magic skills but not the other way around.

3: It would not be that hard to combine many stealth and some combat skills. Blocking could be part of your weapon skills, speechcraft and mercantile could be combined, as could athletics and acrobatics and sneak and security. Armour skills are debatably unnecessary.

So I'm not sure how I feel about this yet, but do you think this could be possible?

I don't believe in a class system in TESV, Todd even said there won't be one. So why do you believe there will be combat, magic and "stealth" classes for skills?

In the magazine, it is said that Todd said that we won't have a "restrictive class system", and will improve based on the skills we use instead. So no class creation, that really gives them no reason to class skills as "magic", "combat", "stealth", etc. I really hope that they keep attributes, so the skills will at least be decided a little by the character, and not be completely free.

It was also stated that the developers believed in allowing us to develop our out archetypes. If they removed stealth and combat and made a new blend of the two it would SERVERLY limit how we could play the game. While many of the other attributes are up in the air at the moment we can definitely expect to see stealth, combat and magic.

Yeah our classes are defined by the skills we use now. We can still develop into archetypes, but the game won't tell us that we're a warrior/battlemage/assassin at the start and make using those skillsets most beneficial.
