So currently the only answer is..

I've been reading thread after thread regarding CTD and Crash-to-white to attempt to allow this game to be playable longer than about 10-15 minutes at a time on my PC.

So far all fixes, .ini changes, resolution changes and detail changes have not resolved this issue.

So before i go sleep in a cave for about a week until there is a fix i just wanted to make sure...

Currently, is there is no real "fix" designed for this issue?
The consensus seems to be that the game engine is responsible and until an actual patch for it is released, those of us who are having these issues must simply wait. Is this the case?

If this is the case then I'm a bit disappointed, but i can just go play Civ5 for a little while and come back to it. =/

But to summarize and reiterate,

Currently, Is there any solid fix to these crashes?

You are correct. There is no permanent, or temporary for that matter, fix at this time. At least it seems that way at the moment.

Personally, I have no idea whether your problem is unique or is shared. In this thread, you included no diagnostic information. You make no mention here of hardware, operating system, error messages, region, kind of game (retail or digital), no useful data at all, so you get to see this, same as all of the incomplete messages will get (from me):

When a complete problem report, including the standard PC Gaming Computer hardware component summary, and a routine software environmental description is provided, along with full symptom details, then perhaps someone here will be able to offer a suggestion. Sorry to have nothing else for you now.

Yes, if you want help from the Community here, then post something we can work with. We can solve a Rant.
