I've installed the game and am playing etc, but there is no shortcut for the game on my desktop. How would I get one on there? I've looked through my program folders and can't find the NV one. Is it ALL done through Steam? Even if that's the case, all my Steam games have desktop icons...

You can right click the game in Steam and there is an option to place a desktop icon.
