Good Target

Post » Sun Aug 01, 2010 8:21 am

I like going around killing some High Ranking people on Oblivion for their items, i've been killing a fair amount but never get anything decent, i'm running out of idea's.

So, any of you guys got anything you can set me with?
I'll post back telling you easy ways and decent drops from target's if I get new ones.

Thanks.

~Shamaru.

P.S: Please contact back confirming that i'm in the right area for this sort of thing, if not I will change to the correct area.

Is it possible to actually assassinate any counts? Every time i try to kill one they are just unconcious.

I guess it would depend on what you consider good loot? I'm only lvl 3 and pick pocketed that retired mage who wanders around the market district in IC and he had some really nice stuff.

Thank you for this pdesbois, I will head for that target soon as possible.

As I was playing I noticed a Deadra roaming lands east of Anvil, if you want try head in those directions. There were some houses in the distance, perhaps a good Target is there?

A very good question: killing nobles / governors. I know you can use the console to turn specific characters as 'non-essential', including Martin, etc... so that later u can kill them, I know at some point, my character wiil actually kill Martin. And the Blades (and many nobles, etc...).

this command is:

SetEssential <0 or 1> - 0 sets the NPC as Nonessential (Killable) and 1 as Essential

from the site http://oblivion.wikia.com/wiki/Console_commands

HOWEVER... as my game crashed weeks ago, i have never tried, so i cannot say if sth bad will happen. Some quests will be broken, obviously.

I can't say, try some of the blades in cloud ruler temple...
Otherwise store owners, or people that live in the northern richer cities.

Don't know if you know, but if you kill Martin, it's game over (I.e. Load screen comes up)

As for setessential, I recommend http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20509. It uses a spell instead of a console command

I just love sneaking around in the palaces, fun places to explore and it add the excitement that you can not just fight your way out if caught.
