in game races based on real life races : The Elder Scrolls Series Discussion

I had started a thread about this about a year ago on my old account, and would like this new generation of forums goers opinion(Old are welcome to)
Here is what I've gathered so far

Imperial - Roman
Nord - Norse
Breton - French
Dunmer - Native American
Khajjit - Just a wild guess because of their name and their coming from the desert but I'd say Arabic

What do you think?

You know, I don't think we are going to go here for several reasons. First of all, the races of TES are not the races here on earth. One is fiction one is not. Secondly anytime a thread trying to compare these ficticious characters with real life people as far as race goes generalizations get made and then things get racist and then folks are offended. As I already may be a bit by you comparing my race to the Dunmer who are often ruthless and cruel.
