I Need Help With Boss And Wrye Bash

Post » Sun Aug 08, 2010 5:54 am

Im trying to restart an Oblivion game, and Im stuck at the last stage. I didnt touch Wrye Bash for well over a year and I cant get anything to work...

Im trying to use BOSS to determine my load order, and import it somehow - all the docs says nice things like "Wrye Bash can import suggestions from BOSS and apply them automatically." but I cant figure out for the life of me how to actually do it. My BOSS suggestions show up fine in OBMM but Wrye refuses any changes that I dont do manually!

Can someone point me to an easy tutorial on importing BOSS load orders and creating a bashed patch that takes these suggestions into account? Im a bit stuck, and I could use the help. Thanks.

Right-click the header and turn off "lock times" in Wrye Bash (may no longer be necessary)

Click the BOSS button on the bottom panel of Wrye Bash. Should run and bring up a report.

If it brings up the report, but doesn't appear to reorder your mods, right click the header in Wrye Bash again and make sure you choose "Sort by">>>"Load Order"

Ahh thank you!! "Launch BOSS" thing at the bottom worked like a charm...

Wrye Bash has alot more features than I remember and I had trouble finding that. Thanks for the help.

that it has... quite a few massive updates since then... just don't use 278/278b or it'll be painful... but 279 is joyous.
