I have this idea for an RP/Fan Fic and I just had to put it down, I have nothing to save documents on my computer so I am going to post it and see your thoughts, I might make this into an RP for like February or when ever. But I could also make it into a Fan Fic.



In the year 2066 China invaded Alaska, now in the regular Fallout Universe, the USA won this war and kept Alaska, but what if Alaska was not kept by the USA and China took over?

In the year 2070 China successfully takes control of Alaska and sets up many military camps throughout Alaska. The USA is still trying to reclaim Alaska but the Chinese numbers are too high, and they fail.

In the year 2075 China has basses up in Alaska and attacks Canada. Over the next ten years Canada surrenders and they come to an agreement with the Chinese.

In the year 2085 the Chinese are allied with the Canadians and there numbers are bigger then ever. They have a military base up in Toronto and are planning a full scale attack on Washington D.C. in the year 2100.

Throughout the next fifteen years, the Chinese are occupying all of Canada and Alaska. And throughout these fifteen years the US has tried to liberate Canada and take back Alaska but they continuously fail.

2100, The Chinese launch an unexpected attack on Washington D.C. But fortunately the US expected something like this and was already working on something that would genetically enhance human capabilities making them faster, stronger, more agile, and able to take a whole lot more bullets then a human could. These men were known as, OMEGA SQUAD.

So yeah, it is about OMEGA SQUAD, trying to save D.C.

　

　

Sounds pretty neat. I'd join if you could describe a little more. What type of gear do they use?

They use a special Power Armor, it is very thin instead of bulky and it is made of stronger material then the normal Power Armor.

Well this does go against Fallout Lore somewhat, and since it's a pre-war RP/Fan Fic, I suggest maybe following the Fallout Timeline, but making it more a secret war with China; rather than what you've currently got. It just keeps with the Lore, but also makes it your own by branching off what the prewar timeline has.

Totally agreeing with this. It just isn't right without the nukes going off in 2077.

Exactly, what the RP/Fan Fic should do, is follow up to the nukes going off in 2077. Then we won't have the problem of getting rid of the whole Fallout Timeline together, which wouldn't really make it much of a Fallout RP/Fan Fic anymore.

Well, the nukes not going off was sorta the point. This is supposed to be a "what if" Fallout Universe and that is why it does not follow the timeline.

Josh, you already have an RP to handle, don't make another until the Manhattan War is over dude.

I know, if this does turn out to be an RP I said it wont be here till Feburary, and I think it would be better as a FF.

An RP along that line would be pretty good. BTW, im thinking that manhattan war is going to fail out, because me, last best, and kikai have made almost every post so far. You should rename it "Some fallout parody of a sitcom involving a half-insane, hopped up on meds mercenary, a half-super mutant chick with parent problems, and Ghost from Modern Warfare"

Me too. The back-and-forth is my favorite part of RP'ing, through it you make mert people that you stay friends with beyond the individual RP. Develops respect.

An interesting piece of Fallout Alternate History, and can definitely make for a great and imaginative story. Two questions for you though:

1) Was Canada not Annexed by the United States(since they could not have surrendered on their own, not being a sovereign nation).

2) Did the Chinese develop an alternate fuel source/superior nuclear technology(to allow them to push as deep as they have).
