Community Filler Suggestions

Post » Wed Aug 11, 2010 10:32 am

It has been a long...

long...

...long...

...time since TES fans have been to Tamriel and frankly, we have the shakes. I don't think that Bethesda is going to change certain tight-lipped behavior regarding information on upcoming TES titles. I have played some fantastic mods for Oblivion that were filled with deep stories and excellent design, and that is excellent that the mod community was able to provide me that... but I, a less skilled word-smith and even less proficient technophile am left wanting more Elder Scroll interaction. These forums have provided plenty of deep-rooted emotions a voice, and let loose so numerous a bank of suggestion, I feel that we can come up with a better way to fill this void that is both entertaining and interactive. I am hopeful that we are nearing the end of this latest drought, but I recall the same thing before Oblivion was released, and suspect I will be forced to live through it again after TESV and before TESVI.

Can we create our own online Guilds and Brotherhoods... ?

Would it work... ?

Would people play ... ?

Hmmm...

I'm down with this idea. Maybe a mod for new quest, hard ones that you can advance through to advance in the guild with a guild page or something near that.

For Morrowind I'd be down, but not OB.

Don't worry - the devs know it's been a long time, and they're aware how skittish we are at the mention of anything potentially TESV. On april fools day Gstaff posted in a thread, "Anyone who wants a free beta key to TESV post below!" and of course everyone went crazy.

SO it's just a matter of *sigh* waiting now.
