Beast races in Skyrim

Morrowind = beast races
Oblivion = Furries

I'm with the beast races.

Funny you should put it that way, as many Furries would go the digitigrade route. :tongue:

I think a mix between Morrowind and Oblivion wold be ideal. The way Morrowind beasts looked was alright. The way they walked, not so much. If a creature is going to be bipedal, it shouldn't walk awkwardly for its stance. Swinging the legs out sideways doesn't make one bit of sense, especially for a mammal. It could pass for Argonians as that's how quadruped reptiles walk, but not Khajiit. Make them bound around like the minotaurs in Oblivion did or something. I'd like them that way, just so they didn't have the weird wide leg walk they did in Morrowind.

I also would like Beth to bring back the digi legs, but with better walking animations then Morrowind had. MW looked like the beast races were walking on stilts.

Argonians from Morrowind i heard people saying they seemed like jar jar binks from Star Wars, Honestly I love Argonians either from Morrowind or Oblivion. As long as they keep making them look like dragonish race im all for it:)

Agreed with this. The beast races don't need to be so hunched over with bow-legs and walking around like they have a stick up their [censored] to make them look like beasts. Perhaps make their movements more sinuous and sharp than a human's; anything but what we had in Morrowind.

Other.

I want them to be as depicted in the infernal city, which is basically all the different forms.

Why does everyone want morrowind style ones, I played an argonian and I don't want to be forced not to wear boots or full helmets again. Or walk like I'm completly [censored],

I'd like them to model them off iksars from everquest 2, those guys were upright but still look pretty ferocious and bestial

Beast-like beasts, plz. And by "beast" I don't mean "hulking behemoth with a bazillion muscles", that's not found in nature without mutations.

agreed. I prefer the morrowind style, which is not to say make it identical to morrowind but just make them different to humans.

Given that in oblivion clothes could magically change from shirts to blouses or from ballroom gowns to male outfits i dont see why shoes can't change from human style to argonian/khajit style.

Like oblivion, they could all hunch forward a little bit more.

I hope that when you create your character you can choose from a good variety of "breeds" or sub-species of both Argonians and Khajits.

I liked Oblivions beast races. I daresay they are my favourite representation of beast races yet.

I didn't like how the beast races were standing in Morrowind; too much like they were squatting for a number two.

Although I did like the Argonians faces better... Hmm..
