where is the LMG? : Fallout: New Vegas

on wikia, it says its held by high ranking NCR folks... I've gone too every little ranger outpost, and ft.mccarren or how ever its spelt. couldnt find it. did find some nice revolvers though. can anyone help me out.

You can get a full condition one at the Gun Runners shop in Freeside. But like anything else at that store, it doesn't come cheap. Might want to sell some excess weapons and apparel you don't need, it brings down the price more than you'd think.

ok, this might be a dumb question... but ive been all over freeside..where's the gun runners? i saw on a thread it was a little stand with a robot by it... i've looked.. found a stand! but it was selling food.

Its a big factory on the east side of the strip, outside the wall. Almost directly west from raul's shed. Theres a robot in a kiosk / wooden shed with alot of guns behind him. You can talk to him through the glass to buy the guns. Almost all of them will be expensive as they are all in full condition.

ah, i found it. thanks guys. only guns they had that i havent were the lmg and the silenced smg. good stuff though

There's also one in pretty good condition in a deathclaw nest in the quarry. might be a wee hard to get to though.

Seems like its random as to what guns are available. They also seem to scale up as you level. So more advanced guns are available the higher level you are. But i might be mistaken

The LMG started appearing in the Gun Runners for me at the low 20s. If you're not near those levels, you're probably not going to find one in a store or in an enemy's hands. And I'm not sure where there are any non-level-dependent drops for it yet.

You can grab them off of super mutants as well but I'm level 24 so that might be a while.

There is some randomness in regards to a merchant's given inventory. Try the "wait 2-3 days" trick to reset their inventory.
