Well, this is a kinda noobish question, but well Im stuck on the first mission in Brahmin Wood. Im stuck at the outpost right after saving the first group of Tribals after the Brahmin. Well, I don't how to open the door. I can't find a key or pick the lock, so well how am I suppose to get through. Please help, I couldn't find it on the Wiki.

Man, I haven't played that game in years - I can't even remember most of the missions or what they were.

Uhm... have you tried "using" the door? (I know it might be obvious, but that's all I can think of...) Hold down the mouse button over the door, and the quickmenu should come up, then scroll down to the "hand" icon and try that?

Could you be more specific? I played a new game of Tactics a few months ago, but I can't remember or visualize what door you mean.

Ok well, right after the brahmin where you save the tribal hostages there is a small outpost with one raider. I tried opening the door, I tried lockpicking the door, looked for a key and couldn't find anything to open the door. If you still don't know what im talking about, I'll try to find a pic. it's from the very first mission in Brahmin Wood in Fallout:Tactics released in 2001.

I know the place... Its a guard booth surrounded by barricades right?

I'll see if I have a save game there... As I recall I couldn't open it either ~and then suddenly I could.
I passed it and moved on,but I don't recall how (that doesn't help you at all I know... But I'll look at it again, if I have a save near there). ~If not... I suspect you have to complete some thing (if not find the key somewhere).

My best memories of it were there was a dead soldier in there and I walked around the barricades a lot before getting in... I don't recall if its a key or a switch... Someone else will have to post about it.

ok, befor the sleeping raider and the tiny hut, there is a pretty big building with 2 raiders, 1 with a shoutgun, and 1 with a pistol, the door to this building is locked, the key is in the chest, in the tent that is just to the right of the door, it will be gaurded by a single raider, that key opens the door to the big building and the door you are trying to open.

Ithink the key is either on the raider in the booth or in the box thats in the booth.

I believe the key to that door is found in a chest in the first raider booth just before you pass through the first door, just after the initial bridge crossing.

thanks, I had that key but dropped it somewhere so I just restarted teh mission and it worked
