evergreen mills + guass rifle + aim at generator = that place being cleared out. but after that you gotta worry about that behemoth. guess it isnt too bad if you got the guass rifle

Try the Fat Man next time instead of the Gauss Rifle. Or at least switch to the Fat Man once the Behemoth (Gargantuan if you have MMM) is loose and running around near the entrance. The raiders come running from all corners to come play with the Gargantuan. :celebrate: At which point I let loose with 3-5 shots from the Fat Man while I perch up on the cliff. :nuke:

The biggest battle I ever witnessed? quite possibly me owning the enclave EVERYWHERE, but other than that I know another. This battle had several mods installed, some that I made myself. First I had FWE installed, I had a power armor mod installed, making BoS and Outcasts and Enclave godly, I had a BoS DC patrol mod, and a supermutant army mod (making twice as many super mutants appear at spawning areas).

Somehow a group of outcasts had gotten to the mall (don't ask me how), and they started fighting, their power armor was sponging all the hits, but then, the supermutants surrounded them, and what seemed like the kinda stuff that you saw in movies happened. Everyone stopped fighting, and the Outcasts and Brotherhood knights formed a truce. They started shooting and a storm of metal slaughered the mutants, but unfortunately during the firefight outcasts had lost their lives. It was a worthy sacrifice, and the knights who fought alongside them in their final moments would remember this for the rest of their lives.

That was the coolest and biggest battle I had ever witnessed.

Well, any Deathclaw vs. Albino Radscorpion/Super Mutant gang/Raider gang is always good fun to watch. The way the tournament goes is:

If you lose, you die.
If you win, you die.
The difference is I get to kill the winner. It's a quick and painful painless death.

Last night I got pwned more than I ever have in the game, lol. I'm using FWE at mostly default settings and MMM - Increased Spawns. I was in the last stage on my "Trail of Crumbs" quest and needed to get into The Capitol Building for the final key. I always start at The Washington Monument and work my way all the way down the Mall through the sea of Muties that MMM-IS provides for you. I try to bait as many towards the monument to try and get a little help from the BOS crew stationed there, but that only took care of 3 or 4 for me.

So, I just set out on my own and since I haven't played FO3 in a while I was ambushed several times and had to haul azz out of there barely alive, lol.

Finally I made it to the Capitol Building and couldn't believe the HUGE number of Talon's that MMM-IS spawned at the bottom of the steps. Well, it didn't take long, and the Talons just obliterated the hapless Muties. I was hiding, zooming in with my sniper rifle watching the battle unfold. It was epic pwnage on the poor Muties.

So, I began deciding on my strategy of getting past nearly 20 Talons by myself, and decided to snipe as many as I could to reduce their numbers. Unfortunately, I had a slightly crippled arm and my aim was caca. Before I knew it I had 15 or so Talons who had spotted me charging in my direction. Again, I had to haul azz to regroup but before I could get to cover I got turned into a target dummy with the emphasis on DUMMY!

Of course I died a brutal death which was a shame because I hadn't saved and reloaded when I first got to the Washington Monument the first time. This time, there seemed to be a LOT more Muties at the Capitol Building than there were Talons which made sniping all of them much easier that go around. But it sure was an epic battle IMO!

I just started playing a few days ago, and two nights back I was on a road just outside of Greyditch. I stumble upon three Fire Ants. All I had was a 10mm pistol and a sniper rifle, and was very low in ammo for each. So I back up and start working on them with my pistol as they follow. I pass right by one of those Enclave Sputniks and thought "oh great, more problems!" Well, two of the Ants did not like the 'bot, and they started slugging it out while I worked on the last Ant. I just killed it when Boom! up goes the bot, taking out another Ant. I am lining up the third ant when I hear gunshots and start seeing red. I spin around and here comes a Raider with a hunting rifle. So Ant closing in behind me, I take out the Raider with my pistol. Then turn back as the Ant is coming, and cap him with the last of my ammo. Now I just have a sniper rifle with about 3 rounds left. So I go to loot the Ants, when more gunfire brings me around. The first Raider had a friend, who is crouched in the road blasting at me. So out comes the sniper rifle and I go to V.A.T.S. One shot and his head comes clean off! It truly was an epic introduction to Fallout 3.

Last night I went to visit the Capitol, and got to see some big furballs between the Talon Company and Super-Mutants, including a behemoth. Yikes, those things can take a beating! Thankfully I was being stealthy enough that they never saw me first. So I usually let them slug it out and then finished off the leftovers with my sniper rifle.
