Console and raising level

Post » Sat Aug 14, 2010 7:40 pm

Hello

I want to play Fallout, but I've only tried it once, and found it way too hard in the beginning... I don't really want to trudge through all that again. Pretty much every situation was out of my league and it felt like I was a very long way away from actually being able to stand up in a fight.

So, is there any way to open the console and change my level? I don't usually cheat, but like I said, I really do not want to face all that again... I'm just looking to buff myself up enough to handle it from there. Could someone help me with how to do this and to what level I should be raising myself to, so I can still advance and play the game, and the challenge isn't so brutal?

Fallout 1 and 2 have no in-game console, Falche however is a great savegame editor that'll do what you want. Google it or download f. ex. from NMA.

I would suggest not doing this though for your first play though. You just have to acclimate to the gameplay.

Been playing a few hours the honest way... its definitely not as hard as I remember. I don't think I'll need the cheating, but I'm still curious as to how.

If you wanna be a cheater who cheats, it's not really complicated. Use this :

I found it hard too, but playing a game without cheats in the honest way is what makes a game what it is - a fun and challenging experience.
