ive just started to make my own spells is it possible to delete or get rid of them?

It depends what you're playing on. If it's on the PS3, then no. I'm not sure about the 360 or pc though.

Sadly, the game does not have provisions to delete spells. Those playing on the PC can do so via the command console, mods or the mod utility Wrye Bash.

When you make custom spells, they will go into your spell book alphabetically (but numbers and special characters first). This can help some. For example if you precede every custom spell with a + they will all end up at the top of your spell book. You can get a little creative in organizing your spell book this way at least.

In your menus of spells, if you click on the icon at the top of the menu, the spells will be listed Z to A, instead of A to Z. Click it again to go back to normal. Makes it just a little easier to find your spell of choice. Otherwise, just hot-key your favs.

I was so pissed off when I realized that with all 200 of my spells, I couldn't deleted the ridiculously named ones :cryvaultboy: .... I was also pissed off after playing Oblivion, then playing Morrowind for a bit. Because they completely forgot about spell deletion
