Hey folks, hoping that some technical savvy person, ie not me, can help me with this.

I have a widescreen monitor, native resolution 1920*1080.
A graphics card that is happy supporting 1920*1080.

Yet, when I actually use this resolution, nothing seems to fit on the screen. I'm sure that I'm doing something blindingly obviously wrong, but I just can't figure this out. Drivers are up to date, everything seems compatible, so it should work. Shouldn't it?

Oh, for crying out loud.

Scrap that - it actually was blindlingly obvious.... press autoset on the monitor itself.

You would only need to do that if you connected the monitor using anolog vga. It's not necessary on DVI as far as I know.
