Majorka the Idiot

Post » Mon Aug 16, 2010 8:20 pm

Did the Majorga quest etc, got the White Stallion key and stopped by. Majorga keeps saying she is out to get balck bows and I folowed her for a while except she doesnt seem to be going anywhere except in circles.

Is there any point in following her? Did it for a couple of minutes. Not sure there is any point to White Stallion either, except another place to sleep (not that useful anyway).

Cheers.

Oh, you mean Mazoga :P

There's not a whole lot to do after you finish the quest. But Mazoga is your friend! And you can follow her around and kill Black Bow Bandits and then turn in their bows for a reward. Other than that, not much else to do.

Mazoga is beautiful. After we do the quests, I make her essential. Last time my character 'tagged' along, Mazoga led them to Rock Milk Cave and the two of them cleared all the bandits out and harvested some black bows. 'Course they just keep coming back. . . .

Mazoga will follow a weekly routine of clearing out Black Bow Bandits from the following locations near Leyawiin.

1. Ayleid ruin Telepe
2. Rockmilk cave
3. Undertown cavern.

Going to Rockmilk cave every week can usually net you some nice loot.

I never really used White Stallion Lodge for anything. I guess the main feature of it being a free place to store your loot is its main advantage.

Good hunting......

As mentioned above she does go out to hunt black bows. Just not all the time. She goes to the three dungeons listed on different days, then spends a lot of time in the lodge.

At higher levels she is almost certain to get kill, probably in Rockmilk. Because all the bad people there scale with your character until they get so powerful that poor Mazoga doesn't stand a chance. Unless you use the console to make her essential and/or give her tons of health points with the console. Also she will only get killed if your character is nearby, I think.

If you go to those ruins (particularly) Rockmilk, you can possibly kill Mazoga by mistake, thinking she is a marauder. That could get you an invitation to the Dark Brotherhood.

Mazoga (that's Sir Mazoga to you) does indeed go out and get some black bows, and you can indeed tag along if you like. The problem is that she pretty much only has that one line of dialogue after her quests are over, so sometimes she'll tell you that she's going to get some black bows and you can tag along if you like, then she'll eat, or she'll tell you that she's going to get some black bows and you can tag along if you like, then she'll sleep, or she'll tell you that she's going to get some black bows and you can tag along if you like, then she'll wander aimlessly for a while. But sooner or later, she'll tell you that she's going to get some black bows and you can tag along if you like, then she really does go get some black bows and you really can tag along if you like.

I always make Mazoga essential after her quests, just because I can't bear the thought of finding her dead. She's one of the anchors for my game - she has to be there, hanging around the lodge, eating all the food, sleeping and from time to time going out to get her some black bows. And I can tag along if I like.

Thanks for making my day with this! And I can tag along?

Sir Mazoga is one of my all time favorite NPC's of Oblivion and a large part of that is her voice.
I dont know why but I think that particular voice suits Mazoga best.
"Im a knight!" "Do you know where Fishermans rock is?"

I just absolutely love her and always do her quests at a low level to make sure she has a good chance of surviving.
Shes adorable.
