How does one get into the Imperial Orrery Door? Or, where can I find Brothiel?

TIA

Let's start with the basics. Do you have the Orrery DLC installed in your game? If not, there is no quest associated with the Orrery door.

If you do have it properly installed, you should recieve a note giving you instructions for the quest.

More info on DLC's here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Official_Plug-ins

More info on the quest here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Repairing_the_Orrery

Hope that helps! :foodndrink:

Also, if you're on the PC and you use the console to get into the door without the DLC installed, all you'll find is a small, empty room. :sadvaultboy:

Also IIRC there is a conflict between the Mehrunes razor DLC and the Orrery that if they load in the wrong order can cause Botheil to become locked behind the door so you can not get to talk to her.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Bothiel :
It is possible for Bothiel to disappear indefinitely into inaccessible areas. This seems to occur particularly if you are doing both of her related quests (Repairing the Orrery and Necromancer's Moon) at the same time. One known solution is to uninstall the Repairing the Orrery plugin; within 24 hours Bothiel should reappear in the Arch-Mage's Lobby. Complete Necromancer's Moon, then reinstall the plugin.

PC Only This bug is fixed by the Unofficial Official Mods Patch.
