Mods mods mods.

So, I've been gone a while, and I need some help on WHAT exactly has been going down with mods lately. Last time I was here, Vality had all the grass covered. But now I'm confused, as it seems there's multiple grass mods out there? And also what's been going down with MGE and shaders? Did connary ever release his texture pack? etc etc

I'd really appreciate some help in getting caught back up.

vurt did a ground cover mod and a few people improved vality's grass textures, dont know about shaders, and no we are still anxiously waiting for connary to release his texture pack.

no, they're actually very different, i like vality's its a tad bit shorter. vurt's seemed a little too tall for me (no offense vurt, i still love your work).

Reading through the latest MGE thread, is the order for how to load your shaders still the same??

Vurt's ground cover is fantastic. I was skeptic at first, but it is -very- tasteful. Not too colorful or flowery, just the right kind of flora everywhere.

Phal just released a nice pack of shaders linked to in the MGE thread, just skim through it or read all of phal's latest posts.

The latest water is included with the latest revision of MGE, and Phal just released sunshafts v3 and a -fantastic- HDR/bloom shader, as well as a fix for Knu's SSAO. I would also recommend playing with a toned down version of Knu's DoF. :3

But we should move discussion to the MGE thread.
