Need to Make my own objects.

so lets say i want to make a cuirass model, how would i start out?

Making armor is a relatively advanced process. I would suggest you start with modeling something simple, a simple sword, or something along those lines. "You need to learn to crawl before you can run" basically. :)

thats a good idea, but I have to agree with aof, it is best to model something small i first made a model when rageaz asked we to make him a stairs/archway, on skype from there it was easy, u just have to know what buttons to press and strings to pull :)

yeah, i have no idea how to manipulate to objects in the render window, if only it worked like the CS, i would already be creating insane models :P

hahaha, it's fairly similar to the cs (shift and middle click) and most the buttons are the same d+shift in blender is duplicate d+ctrl in the cs does the same.

so it can be easy to remember, but really REALLY easy to get them confused

yeah he screw that part up! u have to press "S" then middle click till u get on the right axis, also dont u have a numlock key? it makes most the buttons on the right numpad numbers.

i'm on a mac book pro, so i dont even have half the keys, no delete, no printscreen! no nothing!

man, this would be easier on skype or something :P

ok, go to the CD and find it, in data files, meshes, A, and look for it (look at the model name in th cs if u have to) then put it somewhere handy, then go to blender -> file, import, nif, and select the mesh ;)
